Epiphany
I pray that love might make me blind
So I might read your body like a book of brail
I trace all of the bumps with my fingers
But the message is still veiled
Now the book lies open, its cover removed
Enlightenment lies in its pages
I delve deeper, so studiously
To bring it out onto the surface
Enlightenment [x4]
I read your volume from start to end
Take in all it has to say
But fingers alone can’t complete the task
There has to be a better way
The scholar stands ready to go deeper
Excited by what has already been shown
Plunges deep down into your pages
Brings epiphany to the realm of known
Enlightenment [x8]
